Planning
It is very important for us to understand the purpose of the video, and what you want to communicate. We can either meet in person or can discuss via email or phone what your goals and expectations are. There are many forms your video can take, as well as production elements that are necessary in order for us to accurately estimate your project. Once we have a clear picture of your goals and expectations, and what our deliverables are, we’ll provide a strategy and a proposal.
Pre-Production
A lot of decisions and preparing most be done before actually shooting begins.
First things first:
- Do you need us to develop the script or are you providing it? Once the script is written, we’ll then create a storyboard, along with a shot list.
- Will interviews/testimonials be a part of the script?
- Will we need on-camera talent?
- Where will we video and will we need to scout and acquire locations?
Once all these questions are answered, Reel Video & Stills will coordinate the video shoot schedule with your team and all the deliverables prior to the actual video production.
Production
With a pre-planned video shot list in-hand, our Reel Video & Stills production team will capture the footage and/or interviews according to plan, with as much or as little of your oversight as you wish. During the shoot, our crew has an eye for seizing special opportunities for quality footage, for bringing out the best in your talent, assuring that the lighting and audio is of the highest caliber and securing great supporting “b-roll” footage.
Post Production
When filming is complete, our work continues. During post-production or editing, we’ll review all recorded audio and video footage and choose the best options to put together a rough cut of your video per your script for your review and approval. We’ll send a private link that you can route to your team. This is the stage when we also create and add special graphics and any animated elements that are desired and choose music, sound effects, make color corrections and add other visual effects to smooth out transitions to make your video “distribution ready.”
Easy Delivery
When your video is complete, we’ll send you a link to download your finished video in any format you need –suitable for online or broadcast airing.
